Tunisia-Chaired by Mouna Saied, International Trade Consolidation Association sees light

The International Chamber of Commerce in Tunisia, known as ICC Tunisia, has been officially launched, marking a substantial step towards improving international trade relations for the country. The announcement of its establishment was made through its publication in the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic on January 23, 2024.

ICC Tunisia is established in response to both the necessity and urgency of bolstering international trade within Tunisia. Its mission encompasses delivering critical advice and support to Tunisian enterprises engaged in export and import activities, as well as fostering an environment conducive to business and international trade growth.

The formation of this association was driven by a group of people from various professional backgrounds, united by their common goal to strengthen Tunisia’s presence and performance in the global market.

ICC Tunisia has set the following objectives:

  • Partake in supporting international trade in Tunisia;
  • Provide advice and information, if required, to public authorities on the vision of international trade development;
  • Organize seminars, meetings, training and events related to its objectives.
  • Disseminate studies, services and recommendations produced by the International Chamber of Commerce to the national business community.

ICC Tunisia, it should be mentioned, received the agreement of the executive committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). This special attribution led to the installation of the Tunisian National Committee by the International Chamber of Commerce itself.

The ICC Tunisia Directorate is made up of the following founding members:
