Tunisia-Chaos in parliament as Abir Moussi refuses to take the ceremonial oath

Events took an unexpected turn during today oath ceremony as the Free Destourian Party leader Abir Moussi refused to take part in the oath ceremony citing it as “unconstitutional” due to the absence of many deputies.

The inauguration ceremony kicked off today as the newly elected deputies took the ceremonial oath, hence officially signalling the start of the second legislative term.
