Tunisia-Chaouachi deplores a political trial

The secretary general of the Democratic current, Ghazi Chaouachi, told the Arabic -speaking daily the Maghreb, that his trial, following declarations to the media, touches on freedom of expression. “This is a political trial and an attempt to impose silence,” he deplored.

He added that the President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, is tightening the vice on his adversaries, as part of his preparations for the elections.
