The Director-General at the Ministry of Communication Technologies Chawki Chihi told Tunisie Numérique that the ministry is accountable for the technical side of the national consultations launched on the directives of the President of the Republic Kais Saied. “The ministry has made it easier for Tunisians to partake in national consultations while securing the freedom of citizens. We have, in fact, provided all the required means to allow all citizens in Tunisia and abroad, those who own their SIM cards or not, as well as students aged 16 and over to take part in this initiative. Tunisians can now access the consultation site for free,” he said, revealing that 309,778 Tunisians participated in the consultation.
