Tunisia-Chawki Gaddes: data that was in possession of INLUCC is very sensitive (declaration)

President of the National Personal Data Protection Instance (INPDP), Chawki Gaddes disclosed that the files which were held by the National Corruption Instance (INLUCC), contain extremely sensitive data, relating to the properties of people who held important positions in Tunisia.

In a statement made, this Tuesday, January 31, 2023, to Tunisie Numérique, Gaddes added “that the INLUCC is closed today and that nobody takes care of its work, which makes us wonder about the fate of these data Paper and electronics, and which is able to see them and their fate also in the Tunisian country, ”according to him.

He likewise indicated that the processing of these files in accordance with the text of the national body to fight corruption and the declaration of goods applies by referring to the law on the protection of personal data.
