The leader of the National Salvation Front, Ahmed Najib Chebbi, announced on Saturday that the Front demands that the presidential elections be held on time, with an autonomous electoral body, and without conditions.
He told the press that it has not yet been decided whether the Front will partake in the presidential elections or not, and concerning the subject of the interaction of the Salvation Front with the appeal of the Democratic Family, to support a single candidate in the presidential elections, Chabbi expressed he supported the idea, provided that primary elections are held for the candidates and then the winner is supported, in the manner of ancient democracies.
