The Ministry of Social Affairs revealed today that the National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM) repaid all of its debts to 36 public hospitals as of October 31. The Fund likewise repaid its debts to its affiliates, to hemodialysis clinics and to the Tunis Military Hospital.
The ministry added that the CNAM also repaid a substantial part of its debts to other 30 public hospital establishments and to private service providers in compliance with contractual deadlines.
“The fund transferred a significant sum for the profit of the Central Pharmacy of Tunisia,” adds the ministry without revealing the amounts.
