Tunisia- Coast guards intercept third illegal migration attempt in 24 hours in Djerba

A Polyester boat with seven people on board seeking to cross illegally to Italy was intercepted by the maritime guard patrol in Djerba. The loaded boat embarked from Boughrara coast with the attention of crossing to Italy before being seized said the southern  National Guard Marine spokesman captain Rashid BouzidiCaptain Bouzidi said that a GPS tracking device and fuel was also seized. 

After deliberation with the Public Prosecutor, the apprehended people were maintained under probation and judicial proceedings were initiated. In 24 hours the coastguards intercept three illegal migration with 13 people being promptly caught in the morning of Eid Adha and 15 others in the same day women and children were among the migrants.
