Tunisia- Computer server of the Ennahdha movement seized

The computer server of the Ennahdha was seized yesterday Monday by the investigating judge of the Economic and Financial Judicial Pole, reads a press release of the Tunis Court of First Instance. Technical analyzes will be conducted on the database of the server, adds the same source.

The seizure of the server comes as part of the inquiry into the so-called “lobbying” case, launched in 2019, against Ennahdha by the former minister Mohamed Abbou.

According to the same source, the seizure follows the inquiries carried out and which exposed suspicions of contacts, via emails, between the American lobbying company and Ennahdha. The email account is hosted in Tunisia and belongs to Ennahdha, said the press office of the Court of First Instance, which said the investigation is proceeding.
