Tunisia-Conspiracy against State: requests for the release of the detainees rejected

Khayam Turki, Issam Chebbi, Jaouhar Ben Mbarek, Ghazi Chaouachi, Ridha Belhaj and Abdelhamid Jelassi will not have the same fate as Chaïma Issa and Lazhar Akremi, at least not immediately.

The investigating judge of the Judicial Center for the Fight against Terrorism has decided to reject the requests for the release of the defendants arrested in the case of forming an agreement to conspire against state security, Mosaique FM reported.

It should be recalled that the Indictment Chamber in charge of terrorism cases at the Tunis Court of Appeal had supported more than two weeks ago the decision of the investigating judge to refuse the release requests of the detainees.
