Professor of Constitutional Law and member of the Consultative Commission for the New Republic, Amine Mahfoudh today voiced his shock at the position of the General Labor Union (UGTT) in regard to the draft of the new Constitution published Thursday last in the JORT.
He stressed that he was disappointed by the position of the UGTT which decided to leave UGTT members the freedom to partake or not in the July 25 referendum as well as the freedom to vote yes or no.
Mahfoudh regarded that the UGTT is only interested in its trade union interests and pays no attention to the interests of the country.
