Tunisia-Cornaro: EU continues to support Tunisia

The European Union Ambassador to Tunisia, Marcus Cornaro, stated on Thursday 26 May 2022 that the second tranche of financial aid for Tunisia to deal with the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, equal to the last one (300 million euros), was paid yesterday.
Meetings and consultations with the administration are in sight, for future financial aid for the profit of Tunisia. Cornaro considers that the European Union has decided to pay this tranche of financial aid, given the crisis that Tunisia and the Tunisian people are going through, in a vulnerable socio-economic landscape.
