Tunisia-Coronavirus: All governorates are classified in red

All governorates have been classified in red in terms of the spread of the coronavirus after registering an average of more than 10 contaminations per 100,000 inhabitants, announced Thursday the national observatory of new and emerging diseases.

The governorate of Tozeur, which was not in the red zone, was recently included in this list after having recorded 15 cases of contamination. The health ministry announced yesterday Wednesday in its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation in our country that 477 cases of contamination have been recorded. This is the highest number of contamination since the spread of the pandemic last March in Tunisia.

Faced with this situation, the scientific committee for the fight against the coronavirus had warned citizens, urging them to respect preventive measures and health protocol during their daily activities.

The director-general of health structures, Mohamed Mokdad had underlined in a statement to TAP that the situation is under control despite the increase in cases of contamination, specifying that the Ministry of Health currently has 400 resuscitation beds, including a hundred, made available to COVID 19 patients.
