Tunisia-Coronavirus claims the life of an investigating judge

Administrative Jude  Mohammad Ayadi reported, on Sunday, November 22, 2020, the passing of judge Khaled Abrougi after testing positive for COVID-19. Mr Abrougi was an investigating judge at the Financial and Economic Judicial Pole.

He is the third judge with Covid -19 to die since the start of the pandemic, According to representatives of the judicial union.

It should be evoked that the judges have been involved in a strike since last Monday, due to the death of a judge from the coronavirus, the late judge was unable to receive treatment in a private clinic and to pay medical expenses.

According to the Association of Judges, 250 judges have been infected with the Coronavirus since the start of the pandemic. The association commanded that they be able to receive emergency treatment at the Military Hospital rather of building a hospital for the judges.
