Ten Tunisian nationals stranded in Wuhan, the city at the epicentre of the outbreak arrived at El Aouina airport in Tunis. They were evacuated from Wuhan aboard an Air Algérie plane.
The 10 Tunisian nationals were rushed immediately to Tunisia as soon as they landed at Algiers airport. They were conveyed aboard a military aircraft made available by the Tunisian government, the Prime Ministry announced in a press release Monday evening.
After undergoing medical examinations, they were taken to a quarantine facility that they receive the medical supervision required by specialised health teams during the entire 14th-day incubation period.
“No suspected cases of virus infection have been detected among the Tunisians nationals living in Wuhan,” the statement said.
