Tunisia – Coronavirus: More than 900 deaths in two weeks

Health Minister Faouzi Mahdi maintained that the rate of the spread of COVID-19 in Tunisia continues to be high. This rate is calculated at 145 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the last 14 days.

In terms of deaths, the Coronavirus killed 1,342 people in Tunisia during the month of October and 905 victims in mid-November, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,543 deaths.

“Tunisia records an average of between 50 and 60 deaths each day,” the minister announced at a press conference on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
