Tunisia-Coronavirus patients are permitted not to fast ,says Zaytouna professors

Some Zaytouna scholars have authorised coronavirus patients to break fasting in the holy month of Ramadan under the recommendations of their supervising doctors.

In an issued statement, they pointed out that ill, travellers or elderly are allowed to break their fast. They firmly denounced baseless calls for the suspension of fasting under the claim it weakens the immune system.
