The National Observatory for New and Emerging Diseases evaluated the degree of spread of the coronavirus in Tunisia. Six governorates are considered to be areas at high risk of infection in addition to 26 delegations.
These are the governorates of Tunis, Ben Arous, Ariana, Monastir, Sousse and Manouba already affected by health and security measures.
The delegations concerned by the strong spread of the virus are: Nabeul, Korba, Soliman, Zaghouan, El Jem, Bizerte north, Bizerte south, Ras Jebel, Béja nord, Béja sud, Jendouba north, Jendouba, Kef west, Kef east, Dahmani, North Kairouan, South Kairouan, West Sidi Bouzid, East Sidi Bouzid, Sebbalet Aouled Asker, South Gabès, Ghannouche, Djerba Houmet Souk, Tozeur, Gafsa North and Gafsa South.
The regional authorities concerned can apply the health and security measures adopted during a council of ministers held on October 3, 2020, said a statement released by the Ministry of Health.
