Tunisia-Covid-19: Closure of 122 schools and 373 classes

Speaking on the radio, the Director-General of Studies, Planning and Information Systems at the Ministry of Education Bouzid Nsiri declared today the closure of 122 schools and 373 classes because of the increasingly rapid growth in the number of contaminations in schools.
 
He added that from the beginning of the school year in September, until January 14, 7,364 coronavirus contaminations have been registered in schools.
 
5968 covid-19 contaminations were detected among students in addition to 1161 contaminations among teachers.
