The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, ordered this Saturday, August 15, 2020, the dispatch of a medical team and a military plane loaded with medical equipment and a military field hospital which will be installed in El Hamma, in the governorate of Gabès.
This decision was taken taking into account the worrying epidemic situation in El Hamma, and the high number of Covid-19 contaminations. It aims to support the efforts of the medical staff in the region, and thus limit the spread of the disease.
Present when the equipment was dispatched, was the Minister of Defense, Imed Hazgui, the National Security Advisor to the President of the Republic, Admiral Abderraouf Atallah and the Brigadier General, doctor Mustapha Ferjani.
