Tunisia-COVID-19 test exceeds 400 dinars: The Consumer Defense Organization deplores

The Tunisian Consumer Defence Organisation “OECD” strongly condemned private clinics and laboratories for raising the price of the COVID analysis to sometimes exceeding 400 dinars while the government has fixed the price at 209.

In a press release, the OECD called on the ministries of commerce and health to initiate their supervisory role and exercise the required measures to respect the pricing for conducting a COVID 19 test and to check the authenticity of the analyzes that are carried out.

The organization viewed this price manipulation as an investment in the health of the citizen by parties who were supposed to support the state’s efforts to prevent the COVID pandemic and help the citizen to overcome the state of terror in which he lives.
