Tunisia-Creation of Housing Office for staff of Presidency of Republic

Decree No. 2024-170 of March 22, 2024, setting up a housing office for staff of the Presidency of the Republic, and establishing its responsibilities, its administrative and monetary organization as well as the modalities of its operation was issued today at JORT.

The Staff Housing Office of the Presidency of the Republic is a non-administrative public institution that has legal personality and financial independence. It works under the supervision of the Presidency of the Republic and is known as the Staff Housing Office of the Presidency of the Republic. Its headquarters are located in Tunis. The institution is regulated by commercial laws except where these laws conflict with legislation involving participation, companies, and public establishments.

 
 

The Office’s mission is in particular:

  • The acquisition, development and sale of land for the construction of housing for the benefit of the staff of the Presidency of the Republic,
  • The construction of housing to rent or sell for the profit of the staff of the Presidency of the Republic,
  • The purchase of built housing and their preparation for rental or sale for the benefit of the staff of the Presidency of the Republic,
    Maintenance of housing to ensure its sustainability.
