Tunisia – CSM rejects review and reform of the judicial system by decrees

The Superior Council of the Magistracy declared in a press release its rejection of the review and reform of the judicial system by decrees and as part of exceptional measures.
Correspondingly, it cautioned of the risk of continuing to exercise pressure and defamation, calling on judges to continue to defend their independence and take responsibility in the battle against corruption. It likewise confirmed that all his decisions and actions were taken and implemented within the framework of the constitution.
