Tunisia-CSM requests President Kais Saied to approve judges’ reshuffle

The Supreme Judicial Council (CSM) officially requested President Kais Saied to approve the annual judges’ reshuffle without further ado
and announce it in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Tunisia to ensure steady conduct of the judicial system.
The CSM assumes that this obstruction may violate the rights of judges, They further called to respect the independence of the judiciary system.
The Association of Tunisian Judges (AMT) had urged its members to start a general strike on Thursday, December 26, to object the non-ratification of the annual shuffle.
