MP Jamila Ksiksi addressed an inquiry to the Minister of Health on Monday concerning the advancement of the investigation into the deaths of 14 newborns in Rabta hospital.
The minister confirmed in his response that following the investigation, several steps were taken, including the suspension of the general manager of the hospital and the maintenance manager. The cleanroom where the nutrients for newborns are arranged has been reconditioned, as well as the neonatal service of the centre.
