The public prosecutor at the Manouba Court of First Instance ordered the opening of an inquiry, to determine the death circumstances of an inmate in the civil prison of El Mornaguia.
He is a native of the Mellassine region west of the capital, the official spokesperson for the Manouba Court of Manouba, Sondès Nouioui, revealed on private radio.
Nouioui added that the prisoner was the victim of a heart attack. At first, he was moved to Razi hospital before returning to prison. Though he was the victim of a second crisis that was fatal to him.
