After a meeting of its national council held on October 23 and 24, 2021, the Democratic Current addressed its evaluation of the general situation in the nation after the issuance of Decree 117. The Democratic Current called for the urgent opening of cases of suspicion of corruption in relationship with certain judges as well as the opening of the headquarters of the INLUCC, ”the same statement read.
The party condemned the smear campaign carried out by President Kais Saied against party secretary-general Ghazi Chaouachi without any legal basis.
