Tunisia-Democratic Patriots’ Unified Party urges vote for Kais Saied in second round

The Democratic Patriots’ Unified Party (Watad) has invited Tunisians to vote for the front runner in the second qualifying round of the presidential election Kais Saied. The party further proclaimed its approval of the preliminary results of the legislative elections.

The party said in a statement Thursday “the decision amid candidates Nabil Karoui, who embodies the ancient system and his corrupt lobbies, and Kais Saied with whom we do not agree on several points and positions is a requirement commanded by the results of the first round of the presidential election.”
