The General Directorate of the National Guard issued a press release this Friday, July 22, 2022, declaring that a fire broke out causing dense smoke on the A1 Tunis-Hammamet motorway at Mornag toll in both directions.
The area concerned is more precisely starting from 10 kilometres 15 to kilometres of the Tunis-Hammamet highway. It called on motorists to be extra vigilant, to respect safety distances and decrease their speed. The National Guard has made the following numbers available to citizens for any information: 71690445 / 71963512 or the emergency number 193.
