Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Director of Communications at the National Office for Mineral Water and Water Healing Mufida Ben Nasr stated today, Tuesday, March 5, 2024, that on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and within the framework of supporting the state’s efforts to control prices and preserve purchasing power, a decrease in the price of mineral water was approved.
Our speaker added that price rates vary between 5 and 10 percent depending on the brand of mineral water, underlining that this comes within the framework of the work of the National Chamber of Bottled Water Producers, affiliated with the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Traditional Industries, to support the state’s efforts to fight high prices.
The same source also revealed that the Ministry of Commerce and Major Commercial Spaces had been reached to monitor the extent of compliance with this reduction.
