The agents of the National Guard district of Béja succeeded, assisting with their colleagues of the central brigade for the fight against narcotics in Ben Arous, to dismantle a network of trafficking in opioid painkillers, with sedative effects and employed as drugs. And this to a neighbouring country, across land borders.

The inquiry and the raids led to the detention of five individuals, including a young girl, working as a preparer in a pharmacy, as well as the seizure of:

24,154 narcotic tablets

3 cars

180 thousand Tunisian dinars

The equivalent of 139 TND in foreign currency.
