Tunisia-Dismissal of Journalists: SNJT files legal complaint against Elhiwar Ettounsi

The National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT) declared this Friday, September 1, 2023, that it has filed a legal complaint against the private television channel Elhiwar Ettounsi to demand payment of employees’ wages.

The SNJT condemned the unfair dismissal of several journalists, including a pregnant journalist. “Despite the efforts of the trade union party, the administration of the TV channel has ignored the significance of preserving social peace and respect for the law…”, adds the SNJT.
