Tunisia-disturbance in water distribution: five affected governorates

The National Water Exploitation and Distribution Company (SONEDE) announced that disruption and a cut in the distribution of running water will be registered, from January 10 to February 1, 2023, in several delegations of the Governorates of Nabeul, Sousse , Monastir, Mahdia and Sfax.

In a press release, the Sonede said that the areas affected will be supplied with water, from the available water resources which cover around 75% of the needs.

According to the same source, these disturbances are due to the annual maintenance program for networks and hydraulic equipment, specifying that the supply will slowly resume from Wednesday, February 1.
