Tunisia-Djerba:29 officers suffer food poisoning at El Kantara barracks

29 security officers of the Regiment for Preservation of Order in El Kantara barracks were admitted to the emergency at Sadok Mokaddem regional hospital after suffering food poisoning, according to Tunisie Numérique correspondent.

Most of the officers were discharged shortly after receiving treatment while five were kept under observation and discharged today evening as their health improved.

According to our reporter, the aforementioned officers were poisoned as a result of consuming “Tuna”, which is not suitable for consumption during lunch.

Units of the basic health under Medinine regional health administration headed to the Barracks to lift samples to identify the source of the poisoning.
