Tunisia-Doctors call for a general lockdown

Several doctors have proposed a general lockdown and a suspension of non-essential economic and social activities, including classes, for three weeks to bring the pandemic under control. This initiative comes at a time when the country records a large number of daily contaminations.

Doctor Ghazi Dali told Mosiaque FM that the implementation of this initiative will allow hospitals and the health system to deal with contamination more effectively.

According to him, the logistical means in Tunisia are limited and do not allow to cope with a large number of transmission.
