Tunisia-E-identity to be launched on August 3, 2022

Communication Technology Minister Nizar Ben Neji briefed Prime Minister Najla Bouden on the preparations for the launch of the National Mobile Digital Identity Project, Citizen Portal and Online Electronic Identity, which will be launched on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
 
The digital identity on mobile “e-identity”, is the first Tunisian national digital identity addressed to residents. It will permit them to have safe and rapid access to administrative services and to access official documents online.
 
It will likewise allow them to secure their transactions and carry out their administrative procedures online, in a simple and simplified way 24 hours a day and without having to travel. The civil status document, bearing the civil status number and the visible electronic stamp, will be the first service to be delivered by employing the digital identity on the mobile “e-identity”, via the portal “directed e-services” for the citizen on the “e-Portail” electronic portal.
