Echaab movement warned political parties that have displayed their alignment with one of the Libyan opponents or supported a foreign military interference on Libyan territory and all that this would signify in terms of logistical assistance from Tunisian territories.
The problem now affects on Tunisia’s independence and territorial sovereignty and interprets it as a stakeholder in the assault against our Libyan brothers, the party announced in a declaration.
The party expressed its complete refusal of any foreign military presence in Tunisia under any guise.
It emphasised the significance of the role of President Kaïs Saïed and the importance of securing the right decision to protect the national sovereignty of the Tunisian State and the rejection of any form of foreign military presence on the whole Tunisian territory.
The movement called on all “patriotic forces to assemble with the required steadfastness to defend Tunisia’s sovereignty and the independence of its national decision in the face of the plans of NATO, the United States, Turkey, Russia and their allies, to redraw the map of the region according to the will of the colonial powers”.
“Echaab also repeated its principled stand on the evolution of the situation in Libya, which consists in promoting a purely political resolution fitted of bringing all the parties to the conflict together around the national dialogue table under the exclusive aegis of the neighbouring countries, to put a stop to the colonial aims.
