Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi, met this Friday, with the ambassadors of the G7 nation and the European Union. He welcomed them in the presence of the Minister of Economy and Finance and briefed them about Tunisia’s economic situation, as well as its reformation and recovery program.
Mr Mechichi requested the support of the G7 countries for Tunisia’s economic recovery, as well as in its relationships with rating agencies. The ambassadors assured the PM the complete support of their countries and pledged to intervene with the rating agencies, to explain the situation in Tunisia, on the sidelines of the global covid crisis.
