Tunisia-Edward Oakden appointed new UK Ambassador to Tunisia

British diplomat Edward Oakden has been appointed the new UK Ambassador to Tunisia, succeeding former Ambassador Louise de Sousa.

Oakden has held several diplomatic posts, the most recent of which was the British Ambassador to Jordan. He was also a director in charge of the Middle East at the UK Foreign Office and UK ambassador to Abu Dhabi
