Egypt strongly denounced on Wednesday the killing of four Tunisian army personnel in a landmine explosion.
“Egypt renews its deep condemnation of these despicable terrorist acts,” the Egyptian foreign ministry announced in a statement.
The ministry emphasised Egypt’s “confidence that these [attacks] will not deter Tunisia from extracting the hateful scourge of terrorism and defeating its supporters.”
“Egypt has likewise affirmed its full support for Tunisia in the measures it takes to protect its security and stability,” the statement added.
