The protestors of the El Kamour coordination as well as a number of citizens of Tataouine today called for the implementation of the El Kamour deal reached with the former government on November 8, 2020.
They further threatened to close the oil valve on November 20, 2021, in case the regulators do not honour their engagements. The coordination published on its official page a video showing the spokesperson for the coordination, Tarek Haddad criticising the laxity of the supervisory authorities and the absence of national organizations (including the UGTT and UTCA).
Tarek Haddad called on President Kais Saied to speed up the implementation of the November 2020 agreement, commanding the region’s right to development.
