Tunisia- El Mdhilla: Parents prevent their children from attending school due to coronavirus

Parents of students at Al Tawfik Primary School, =in El Mdhilla (Gafsa Governorate) banned their children from entering school today, September 29, 2020. The decision was adopted after parents suspected the infection of a bride who contacted the owner of a beauty salon already infected with the virus.

In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, Students’ parents confirmed that they had taken this initiative to protect their children from those in the neighbourhood where the marriage took place. They also called on the regional health directorate to intervene and give them tests to ensure their state of health.
