Tunisia-Election offenses: Saïed criticizes the slowness of the prosecutions

President of the Republic Kais Saied received this Monday, Dean Sadok Belaïd and Amine Mahfoudh, professor of constitutional law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Sousse at Carthage Palace
The meeting was a chance to examine issues related to the constitutional and legal situation in general, said a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
It was likewise the opportunity to study in detail the report of the Court of Auditors in relationship with the 2019 elections. The head of state insisted on the necessity to apply the law and prosecute those who committed electoral offences as indicated in the report of the Court of Auditors. I
t is unacceptable not to prosecute those mentioned by the court report, Saïed added.
