Tunisia-Electronic wallet service is officially launched

The Ministry of Communication Technologies revealed, this Friday, August 11, 2023, the official launch of an electronic wallet service permitting one to obtain prepaid telephone cards and to make transfers, through a mobile phone.

This service is planned for people who have created electronic wallets using their digital identities and who do not have bank or postal accounts. An accord has been signed between the ministry and the three telecommunications operators. Still, according to the same source, this service will be available in almost 650 post offices before the end of August 2023.
