Tunisia- Elyes Fakhfakh: Approximately 4 million Tunisians suffer from poverty

The cabinet has prepared a rescue plan to reconstruct the national economy,the upcoming battle is fought to save the state and build it in light of the debt and the social and health crisis, prime minister Elyès Fakhfekh announced during Thursday, June 24, plenary session.

Approximately 4 million Tunisians suffer from poverty, each unrest is due to Development issues, we seek substitute solutions and create planting companies to act as sedatives, said the PM.

 

He stressed the need to put an end to patching method and the necessity to prioritize and operate to restore the economy, adding that the government has spoken frankly as they are working to find the appropriate formulas to start the rescue process.
The first axe in the economic plan is to continue Resilience and support measures that have been adopted during the pandemic, stressing that the state will not deviate from signed conventions, he pointed out.
He affirmed the priority is to continue standing in front of current issues arising from the COVID19 pandemic.
