Prime minister Elyes Fakhfakh reported, this Thursday, June 25, 2020, that before the Revolution, he was at the head of one of the biggest companies in Tunisia.
Speaking at a plenary session, the PM said that in 2015 he had persuaded foreign investors to invest in Tunisia.
He remarked that he inquired the help of a chartered accountant and a lawyer regarding the possession of the property, adding that the latter told him that it was okay if he disclosed it.
In the same context, the head of government continued that he and all cabinet members had declared their assets.
Fakhfekh said that anyone who claims to have discovered that the head of government has undeclared assets is lying because asset declarations are filed with the INLUCC.
