Earlier today Elyes Mnakbi, Tunisair’s CEO, has been dismissed by Minister of State for Transport and Logistics Anouar Maarouf. However, Mnakbi assured that he refused to comply with this dismissal decision, adding that the letter he received in this direction, has no legal value.
Speaking to a private radio, he explained that the minister has no right to replace him, and that it is up to the prime minister to dismiss and appoint the CEOs of state-owned enterprises.
