Tunisia-End of house arrest for Bhiri and Baldi

The Ministry of the Interior revealed on Monday, March 7, 2022, that it had been decided to put an end to the decision to place Noureddine Bhiri and Fathi Baldi, a former executive at the ministry (without citing their names) to permit justice to end the investigations and measures against them.

The ministry clarified in a press release that this decision was taken following the establishment of the Provisional Superior Council of the Judiciary. The same statement stated that the house arrest respected human rights by permitting visitation and medical care for the two concerned.
Medical reports confirm that they are in normal condition at the end of this measure. The governors of Bizerte and Manouba have been responsible for applying the measure to complete this residence.
