Tunisia-Ennahdha congratulates Nabil Karoui on his release

Ennahdha ‘s Executive Bureau issued a statement in which it called:

the government to review the price raises recently decided, taking into the record the purchasing power of vulnerable groups;
the public prosecutor to open an inquiry into the attempted assassination of the President of the Republic and to notify the public of the results of the investigation as soon as possible;
the President of the Republic to promulgate the bill relating to the Constitutional Court, while evoking that the adoption of bills falls within the competence of Kaies Saied and that overlooking this kind of question blocks the proper functioning of state institutions.

The Ennahda Movement has therefore reemphasised its call for national dialogue to lift the country out of the political and economic crisis, welcoming the initiative of the UGTT on this issue.

The party likewise congratulated Qalb Tounes leader Nabil Karoui on his release, maintaining the independence of the judiciary and the right of all citizens to a fair trial.
