Tunisia-Ennahdha for a new leader of the movement without Ghannouchi losing leadership

Everyone within Ennahdha is bound to respect the rules of procedure, including the leader of the movement, ”said Monday, the president of the council of the Shura, Abdelkrim Harouni, predicting that the party agrees to alternate the presidency not only at the level of the movement.

 
Speaking to Mosaique FM, he explained that “we are for the election of a new president at the next congress, but that does not mean that Rached Ghannouchi is stripped of the leadership or that he has primacy over the president movement ”, according to him.

He added that “the change of the president of the Ennahdha movement is not that affecting the post of minister or director, because he is the founder of a 50-year-old movement, and his presence within Ennahdha must be effective and not purely formal, because Ennahdha, Tunisia and the State still need him, ”he said
